Reading Bear Festival

hello friends,

it's been a very, very busy weekend for your furry friend

i've not only been hobnobbing with the great, good and not quite so sober 

at the Reading Bear Festival, but i've also 

managed to enjoy a little mini-adventure in a lovely

hotel in Little Froyle, the Anchor Inn. 

i'll tell you more about them over the coming days :)

Happy Easter everyone!

A very happy Easter to you! I've had a lovely day reminding myself of the glorious, never beaten taste of Nutella again after a staggering 46 days off the lovely stuff. Never again, that's for sure! 

If you've ever wondered why my fur looks so shiny, here's the secret: lots of pampering and proper rinses in the shower. I like using stuff from Lush, it's gold, frankensense and beer thingie at Christmas from small seal was much appreciated. 

Anyway, I'm off to have a shower. I can't have you seeing me bear, so come back tomorrow for another pic

Hello again friends!
It's been another little while since I've blogged ... I've been a bear with a very sore head lately as I've given up nutella and chocolate for Lent. Thankfully it's nearly Easter Sunday (and what a lot we have to celebrate on Easter! hurrah!) and I'm looking forward to getting my paws on some sweet sticky chocolately goodness again.
I need to as I've lost some of my weight - and you can't have a non-cuddly bear, can you?

Anyway, here's a snap of one of my latest adventures - a little stay in the Malmaison in Birmingham at the Mailbox. It took us ages to find the place, but Small Seal was an excellent navigator particularly after I took a wrong turning!

bear on a bus

Hello friends
How are you? I've been a tired old bear lately, not remembering to blog inbetween nibbling on nutella and snoozing.
I've given up the nutella for lent - it's too much torture for a bear to handle!
however it does mean I have a little bit more time for blogging, so to cheer you up on a cold, wet winter evening (still!) here's a picture of me riding a bus.

but there is room for us all
so up in the air we head
ready to find out hotel bed

i sit and wait for the call.

It doesn't take long for a little bear to get wunderlust so yet again, we're off on another adventure. this time we're heading on a plane - you'll see it soon - and we're staying in the UK. i know there's airmiles and all that, but it really was the only way we could get there.
