Naughty bear has scratched his head.He's thought of words from A to Z,
He's writing poems in a shed,
They might be better, it must be said
If he wrote them from his bed.
Oh that bear, he likes to be fed
With biscuits and nutella spread.
If he eats too much he will be dead.

Dear Bear, we think your blog is terrific. We are the bears who travel with our owners, Lesley & Jeremy when they are away fron home. We were all at Greenbelt last weekend and kept on seeing you but were too shy to say hello. We saw the poster and wondered if there was a connection with you but only discovered there was on returning home and getting on-line. Had we known we could have a bear hug and appear on the site we would have been a lot bolder - perhaps next year. We seem to have enjoyed a lot of the same things at Greenbelt and Martyn Joseph was our favourite performer. Maybe we will have to get some tips from you on how to set up a blog as we have our photos taken in lots of places all over the world, just like you, but then we don't do anything with them. Anyway keep up the good work and we will be checking the site frequently for further news of your exploits. We might even send you some of our pictures when we have Broadband back - it's currently died. Hope we can be blog pals, George & Yorkie.

my nutella bringers always tell me that if i eat too much of it i'll be too big to give bear hugs :(
they think they ration me to one jar a month. how little do they know - my furry paws usually have one stashed away in my cave!

Hi Bear, lovely to hear back from you with your tips. We've been giving the last line of the poem some thought. We don't like 'dead' because it doesn't apply to bears and 'nutella spread' has just been used so we reckon it should be 'like lead' as you'll be a bit overweight or 'back in bed' as it might make you ill. We quite like nutella ourselves but the thing we are really partial to is a drop of Woodforde's Wherry beer which is our local Norfolk tipple. Do you like to wash your nutella down with a drop of beer Bear?

I love your blog and wish I had met you at Greenbelt...I've sat in the stocks in Stow on the Wold too, but mostly I look after The Curate's study - somebody has to, as she spends far too much time playing on her computer.It does mean I get to listen to her Martyn Joseph CDs though. You'll see my picture at her blog,- which is nothing like as good as yours.
