while i was on the boat, i couldn't resist pretending to be a cabin bear - could hardly be a pirate captain, could i - small seal wouldn't sit on my shoulder crying 'pieces of eight!', would she?
so, here i am climbing the rigging and being look out. but there wasn't much to see, just plenty of birds and lots of water.

Hi Bear, we're trying to work out what happens next. Some of us have money on, you hoist the flag and others that you drop the sail. Are any of us right?
Mind you, we now understand why you were travelling so light and didn't even need sun cream. Whatever has happened to the sun? Definitely not enough to ripen a grapefruit.

thanks for dropping by. sadly i did neither as my nutella gatherers, already worried for my safety after the misadventure up the mountain, reined me in before i loosened the sail :(
would you believe that for the entire duration of my big israel adventure it did nothing but rain and rain and rain and rain and rain and rain? it was also jolly cold so i'm glad that i had my layer of fur to keep me warm
